Military gear is the primary source of inspiration for Tetsu Nishiyama’s brand WTAPS, which has been championing the aesthetic for decades now. Vans Vault have linked up with the Japanese streetwear brand once again for a collaboration merging both militaria and skate culture. Four of the most iconic Vans models are given a premium “Coyote” coloured suede upper with the OG Chukka & OG Era completed by the classic WTAPS bones repeatedly embroidered. Further WTAPS branding arrives via woven tab labels as well as printed onto the insole. A small collection of apparel joins the footwear following the same military aesthetic.
