The Stan Smith has become of the most recognisable silhouettes in the adidas archives, the two names are intrinsically bound together by a long catalogue of iterations that have been released since the trainers conception back in 1965. A shoe with both historical significance as well as a strong relevancy in contemporary culture today. This latest version is a premium rehash, with a focus on class and quality, much like the traits of the shoe’s namesake. A crisp white leather upper sits atop an off-white midsole, with tonal off-white laces that create an extra dimension of depth with the subtle variation of hues throughout. A luscious black leather with an embossed adidas trefoil makes up the heel tab which contrast nicely against the upper. It would not be complete without a gold foil script on the lateral side, alongside the iconic Stan Smith illustration foiled on the tongue.
